I currently have a 32 foot Terry travel trailer and also have a golf cart. I can't take them both with me at one time. I have seen platforms on the rear of travel trailers to carry golf carts.

Does anyone have any opionions?

Can you safely construct one?

If so do anyone have any plans or suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

Larry.

Opinions are cheap and mine says that's too much weight on the back end of a TT because it may lighten the tongue weight below the 12 to 15% of the TT weight for ideal towing.
I can't think of a good way to take a golf cart with a TT.

Does the trailer have the GVW? Is the frame strong enough to hold that much weight cantilevered off the back?

No expert here, but my gut fell on the idea is the same as Dick's. Could proably get away with it if we were talking a class A motorhome.

Hanging even 1/2 that much weight that far behind the axles of a TT is guaranteed going to be a handling disaster ! Don't even think it.
