While looking for insurance quotes on a possible purchase, The insurance companies are asking if the Winnebago Outlook (WF324V) has the "Z Package"

OR

The seller (Private party) has no idea. What is the difference and is there a way to tell by the VIN # or a sticker in the MH ?

If the original sales paperwork is still there, it should be listed, but probably not on any paperwork permanently attached to the MH. You may have to ask the insurance company what the "Z Package" entails. I looked online at the sales brochure for that MH, but it doesn't mention a "Z Package." It is probably a group of options though. Here is the link if you want to look at the brochure: 2006 Outlook

Yes I have that brochure and have been scouring over it for the last few months.

What I don't know (and I asked one of the insurance companys w/ no answer) what the "Z package" is and if it is related to the Ford Chassis OR the Coach/House.

The Owner is suppose to gather up all paperwork etc. for us to look over this weekend when we do a inspection of the unit. Hopefully, I will see something in the paperwork that will answer the question (and Many more) Since I know more than the original owner seems to

Sounds like maybe a chassis option? If there's no answer here, try calling a Ford Truck dealer's parts or service department. It _might_ be unique to the model year, which could be '05 or '06 for the chassis.

I think it's a little odd that they would ask you that question when they have no idea what the package even is. If it's a chassis package, the VIN should tell them what they need to know. You can always ask which option costs more for insurance, and then tell them you have the other one.

Winnebago is still in business. Just call them and ask what the Z package entails.

Well now you know! Also, you know why the insurance company wanted to know - so they can set an accurate value and thus price for insurance.

I think the z package is a options package like electric step, A/C, MW, awning etc, call Winnebago customer service 866-311-7133, have your coach serial number handy, not your vin #.
