That sounds a bit High to Me there are lots of 1998`2000 DS DP out there in the under 40 price range. Check e-bay Etc. It's still a Buyers Market, but as usual there are lots of Sellers that think Summer is a good time to gouge! Maybe better to wait until Fall when the prices drop!
I wowuld make sure he checks the tires. RVers don't wear them out in most cases, they dry-rot from non-use. Check the date code on the tires and if they are over 5 years have him either plan on another $3000 for tires or get the price reduced to cover them. The tire code is stamped on each tire with 4 digits as the DOT last numbers. The first 2 numbers are week of build and the last 2 are the year. The numbers 2307 would indicate the tires were made the 23rd. week of 2007. If there are only 3 digits they need immediate replacement since they are 10 years old. Don't be fooled by good tread on the tires.

Offer him $35,000, 45 is rather high for the year.
I don't know why some people think it is unreasonable for someone to make money on the sale of their MH. Maybe theirs is crap... If this MH is well looked after and has been maintained properly I don't see why it wouldn't be worth twice that or more...

I was thinking the same thing! Our '02 DSDP sticker was over 211,000 (almost $40,000 in options) selling price was 155,000 and it's 5 years newer with three slides, more hp and lots of accessories. BTW: that's awfully low time on the generator, ours has more than that. Is it a diesel or propane gen. set? Had propane in our 2000 DSDP, NEVER AGAIN!! Went through two 10 gallons tanks and most of the onboard 40 gallon (32 usable) tank in 5 days at a rally with the temps only in the high 90's

Then you're out of touch with reality now!! Go check some prices on the Internet and realize that you can ask any amount you want, but you'll still have it next year.
it is a diesel gen set I am not to concerned about wether or not the price is to high I am more concerned about any problems such as delamination. any common problems with this brand that we should look out for thanks
