I've done the search and still can't come up with a definitive answer as to the feasibility of towing an 09 Pilot with four down just like my CRV. Remco says it's OK as they have not heard of any problems with the transmission so they don't provide a disconnect system. I would like to know what the owners of Pilots are doing with their car.

Honda says it's not, you run the chance of having no warranty on the running gear and transmission. But, as I've said before: You can tow anything as long as you're willing to make it towable or pay for the repairs when it fails!

I believe if you read your Owners manual it will say not towable. If you have any questions I suggest you call Honda for their confirmation of not towable. Or take your chances and if the transmission fails you can pay the bill, your choice.
