I have the lights like your older Nomad.. I would love to put these in at least 2 (double) lights. I could only run one board on each end and get pretty good coverage with my small TT. I bet they would work in mine too.
They seem to be bright enough.

I replaced my "over the stove" light with a 36 bright white LED and what a difference. Just a word of warning, the spectrum of light produced by LED's is different from incandescents. Just like when replacing an incandescent with a florescent bulb it takes some getting used to. That said, the energy savings and brighter light output does make a huge difference.

firecapt1,
So what your saying is that when my steak is a golden brown as viewed by the new LED it's really burnt
Seriously, I understand completely about "color temperature"... These LED's definitely go toward the warmer end of the spectrum but we like that... Other's may prefer a LED that goes more toward the "blue" end of the spectrum... My pictures closely approximate how they look - they're a bit warmer in the pics than they really are but it's close...

He-he Sorry barney - well you know me - I just can't leave things stock
If you like the "warmer" feel of an incandescent lamp over flourescent or Halogen, you'll love these... The lower current draw and less heat are a plus for the type of camping that we do but the real selling point in my book was the coverage and color temp...

Hummmm, no flickering with these - that almost sounds like a regulator issue if your lights have a device like that on the board...

MommaJo, please let us know of your results.
I also have the same flickering problem. I bought mine from "Super Bright LED." The first two started flickering within a couple of hours of use. I complained to the "Super Bright" sales source and after quite a hassle he did agree to send me two replacements. They also started flickering after about two total hours of use. One of them will start to burn steady after its been on for about an hour, the other just keeps flickering. The voltage is good at the light.
I'll be looking into other sources this winter.

Did you get the flat looking SMD or the LEDs with the plastic lens on top of it? I have both from SBL and the SMD is way way better.

i agree. Different but related. My basic question is...
Where is a chart that cross references wedge style bulbs to a same intensity LED? Would it be some sort of lumen comparison? I haven't found one.
921 18watt 1.5amp = ??? LED product number
908 9watt .75amp = ??? LED product number
918 7watt .58amp = ??? LED product number
901 4watt .33amp = ??? LED product number
RVnRobin and DW.
Love my 94 Dodge 2500 almost as much as I love my DW.

Here is a picture, of what one of mine looks like. The three LED's that are off in the picture flicker on and off very rapidly.

On the other LED more than three flicker at a time.
They appear to be about the same size as the ones that Les has in his pictures, but I don't know if they are SBL or SMD, as I don't know what the difference is.
