Just bought a used pop up off Ebay in Sioux Falls for 2800. I am really not excited about driving back there from Boise this time of year. Checked the mileage chart and it will cost me about $500 in fuel for round trip.

Went online to an RV transport Co. MIGHT ship for 2100. WILL ship for 2900.

Guess I better go down to the Army Navy and get some snow shoes just in case!!! Plan on leaving the 1st.

You should be fine so long as you have a 4x4 truck and some decent offroad tires.

That's way too high. Last January when I bought a new Ford F250, they shipped it from Las Vegas, NV to Pennsylvania for $1000.

Unfortunately the F250 has wheels and the camper does not. Loading a camper on to a truck with a bunch of other units is not that easy. That may have been a price for a single pick up/solo run. Not saying it's a good deal, but it's tougher to move a camper than it is a vehicle.

I remember when I bought my camper , the shipping from the dealer in Michingan to the port in New Jersey was very expensive, around 2500$ if I remember well .

Which one did you purchase a TC or a Pop-up? Either way look at it as an Adventure and enjoy the ride 500 for fuel seems cheap enough.

There is some comfort is actually seeing the product you just bought before taking it home. With a delivery guy, that is not possible until it is in your driveway.
