We've looked at the Dutchmen 29vnt with two "tent beds" in the front V. Has anyone seen one of these and what about the COMPLETELY different shaped front end?

we have the jayco 31bhs and it works well for us we have 2 kids and have extra room for freinds or our mother in law when she tags along. We also have found the one upper bunk works well as a spare pantry area when not in use. My dd sometimes prefers to sleep in a tent occationally for more privacy and to sneak out at night and scout the cg for boys.(but my dog alerts me to this and foils her plans every time.)hehehe. But when not in use in our traile rthe bunks fould out of the way and I installed hooks for straps and made a portable bike rack to put our bicycles in the rear bunk area. Also the top bunks fold out of the way and they can sit and eat or play games back there also with the extra table jayco gives you with this setup.

bunks! Making beds up and down every night and morning gets really old really fast. Some of our trips are 12-14 days long. That's a lot of putting down and putting up!

The Jayco Jayflight 23K is a great triple bunk model with lots of cabinet space in the bunk area - great section for games and clothes. Saw this one recently at an RV show and really liked how it was designed inside.

Bunks, the more comfortable your kids are, the more comfortable you will be.

Go with quad bunks if you can swing it.

We camp in a 2010 K-Z Spree 245KS LX. This floorplan has two bunks up front, a large u-shaped dinette, jack-knife sofa and is 26'2".

With one baby, and another arriving in June, I can see what the future holds now; quad bunks. The babies are a long ways off from sleeping in tents, but I can see them wanting to bring friends along within three or four years.

We have a jaych 31bhs. The upper bunks fold up out of the way, the lower ones fold front and rear, there are 2 cargo doors, 1 on each side behind the lower bunks. We have 3 kids, with a spare bunk for a friend, then the jacknife couch, then the dinette.

At that age, go for the bunks.

We have a RL cougar with a 14 year old daughter and an 8 year old son. Our reasoning was a couple things. One, our daughter probably only has a year or two before she won't camp with us. Two, when we do need to give the kids some space, they use the bedroom that has a tv in it.

We loved the RL, and picked the trailer because of it. One suggestion for those that want bunks and rear living. If you've got the truck for it, the Crossroads Cruiser CF32bl is a gorgeous 5er that gives you a large bedroom, a small bunk room and a Rear Living model. I didn't have the truck for it

Loved the bunks when we had kids. Several reasons I like the specific floorplan you chose. Bunks in the front of the V is an efficient use of space. I also like that the bathroom isn't right by the bunks because if you get up early or during the night and need the facilities you won't be disturbing the kids. Love the eating bar, and the U dinette.

Just depends really on...how long do you plan on keepin it. We started with a conversion van, (AC/DC fridge, water & a camp stove) then the first little rug rat came along, was great for a few more yrs then to came the second rug rat and we moved to a popup pulled by the van. That was also the way to go at the time, but we needed a little more room as the kids got bigger so we went with a regular 26' TT. The kids were old enough to sleep in tents by then. Then when they didn't want to experience the great outdoors with us we had what we needed for the 2 of us & our grand & great grand doggies. So just don't think in the present, think of what may lie in the future. Good luck
