Soy Sauce Substitute ???

Is there a soy free substitute for soy sauce that you've tried and tastes good enough to be subbed for SS in recipes?

RE: Help with gun selection

She will need something portable and a handgun that fires shotgun shells as well as .45 caliber would help as the shotgun shells can help with those who have trouble with pinpoint shooting.
I recommend The Judge

RE: How Much Stuff Do You Bring for a Weekend Trip?

My answer: NO YOU MAY NOT. We need our site for our relaxation. Sorry Charlie.
Reminds me of the guy that came over whining about how he left home late and wanted us to dismantle our mh set up to trade campsites with him. He received a polite and firm NO as well.

RE: Shanandoah Valley, VA

Is it possible/feasible to drive a motorhome up Blue ridge parkway from Asheville Nc to Winchester VA? Any tunnels/obstacles that would prohibit such a drive?
Your answer can be found in this link

Sounds like most of the scenic features are from Roanoke to winchester, correct?
All of SW VA and NC are special too. We prefer South of Roanoke. It depends on what you're looking for in the way of "scenic features".

RE: GA Mtn Fairgrounds RV Park

Any reviews on this park? I am heading there this weekend for the GA Mtn Buddy got reservations. I have never heard of the place or been to the area.
We liked our lakefront spot in Area 2 (FHU). I think it was C10. Area 1 is E/W only. Nice clean facilities then but you'll have to share with us it's current state. Was there a few years ago when another park was full.

Remember this one?

Hi de Ho
BS&Ts David Clayton-Thomas has a voice that everybody enjoyed, guys or gals.
Fess up, I just KNOW someone here puts in a BS&T song, cranks it up and sings at the stop-lights. I know I'm not the only one. :W

RE: Now that's driving skill...

We used to have a really nice Four Winns 210 Horizon with a 340hp motor. We had to come in between two docks lined with boats, turn 180 degrees, and slip between two boats to dock. I was coming in and the motor started to stall just as I was initiating the spin. I gave it a little more throttle to prevent the stall. I had given more than I thought and all 340 horses woke up! The boat leaned hard to one side and the stern leapt towards the dock. I hit reverse and the boat stopped perfectly parallel and a few inches from the dock. Everyone thought I did it on purpose and was quite skilled. My wife was the only one who knew my mistake. :)

Now that's driving skill...

Long boat + narrow canal = skillful driving/sailing Wish my rv could make that kind of a turn.

RE: Yea Good Sam camping search site now has map

Thanks. Ever since their "upgrade" I have been very dissatisfied with the system. A map is sorely needed but it still doesn't do a broad search like the old system did. The old system let me find little cg gems that aren't always represented elsewhere.

No thanks; wife would have to find a place to store it since it isn't much of a multi-tasker like some other gadgies.

RE: I 75 north from Disney World through Georgia.

If you are planning to head N on I85, I would definitely consider taking US129/US441 from Macon through Athens to I85. Not sure where you are wanting to overnight, but at least 2 GA state parks are close to that route.
Double ditto. Excellent route advice.

RE: Dallas to Franklin, NC

You can always plan to hit Atlanta on Sunday morning. Very little traffic either on the beltway or the straight through.
