Well..no, not really 'stuck'..am here house/cat sitting for a couple weeks. I am not interested in downtown..more like...just rubber necking at cool stuff. Planes, farms, patch gear...I kinda don't think it should be on the range roads..they are getting pretty sloppy...right?

So...ideas? all day drives are good. Nope..not in the RV...got use of sisters SUV. RV is parked behind the house.

Gary - if you change your mind about things to do in the city:

There is a fantastic spot called "Blues on White" that has open mike days with some of the finest musicians you will ever hear playing live.

Silly as it seems the Edmonton Mall is something to see.

If you want to take a 2 day trip, get in the RV with the cats and go visit Drumheller - it is a 'not to be missed' place.

Edmonton always has some great concerts going on and the mass transit system is easy peasy.

Stan/Iris..thanks very much. The Blues on White place sounds cool..the Mall. I don't 'do'. The three cats of my sister's are not going to get anywhere near my RV! hahaha...Buddy like, they are not. But..I have been to Drumheller and enjoyed that. If you are ever back in the area, check out Dinasuar Prov Park. It's where most of the bones came from actually.

Thanks for the tips.

Be prepared for a full day to see everything, it is a fabulous place. Last time I was there a restored bi-plane flew over the road on his final approach, could have caused a serious pile up. Elk Island park is certainly worth a visit, it is paradise for bird watchers but watch for bison on the road. Those big boys have a bit of an attitude.
The river valley trails are also really nice once the trees leaf out. No need to be bored especially if you have a camera.
