so i have been helping to rebuild my brothers 94 gulfstream ultra and we want to know what is the purpose of the seat back being able to fold down? the seat back of the dinette directly behind the drivers seat folds down flat, but why? it doesnt fold out towards the drivers seat for say maybe a table but it folds down flat towards the table and lays on the dinette seat. anyone got an obvious answer that i dont know? thank you

That’s what it’s for on my 2004 25’ Chalet. Mine doesn’t fold flat, but that ability to recline the seat back a bit more is much appreciated.

Our Winnie does the same thing, except it is behind the passenger seat. It will allow the co-pilot to recline the seat.
