I am getting ready to pull my 2007 Chyrsler Town & Country. I have purchased the proper base plate but am wanting to know how to run my electrical in the front of the van so my motorhome can plug into it so that my tail lights function properly. So basically I run a plug from the back end of my motorhome into the frontend (grill) of my Town & Country. A good web site on this would be great! I have hooked up wiring on the backside before but never on the frontside. Haven't a clue where these wires get tied into.
Thanks!

I tow a Jeep Wrangler. I added a 2nd 1157 light bulb to the taillight assembly that is wired up as if was a trailer. I did not have to mess with the Jeeps wiring. It works like a charm.

Hey, I figured it out. I can actually run my wiring harness from the front and back to the back trailer harness. It works perfect! I'm actually working on pulling two items, my van and my twin jet ski trailer. Had to look at all the states pulling laws specific to length and brakes. Had to do a little homework but it will pay off.

Besides the wiring and base plate, do you also have the required Remco transmission lube pump installed?

The 2007 Chrysler T&C FWD automatic transmission cannot be towed 4-down as is without burning up the transmission. Remco Towing can supply an electric transmission pump that circulates the fluid to keep the transmission lubricated while in tow. My RAV4 has the same towing restriction, but the Remco pump let's me tow it trouble free. Not all automatic transmissions need the pump, but the T&C, like my RAV4, does.

With the Remco lube pump you will also get the wiring harness . I had one on my PT cruiser automatic. If you think the lube pump is expensive ask what a trans rebild will cost you when you don't use one.

I looked these pumps up and the one web site wanted $850! I paid $350 for the base plate alone. Does anyone know where to buy these a little cheaper?
