RE: Chili Rubbed Pork Tenderloin with Apricot Ginger Glaze

I used the grated fresh ginger. There isn't much in the recipe.

Chili Rubbed Pork Tenderloin with Apricot Ginger Glaze

I've made this recipe twice in the last month...it's the best pork tenderloin recipe I've tried.....and I have several in my recipe box. I followed the recipe without making a single change. It's awesome. Enjoy!! Chili Rubbed Pork Tenderloin with Apricot Ginger Glaze

Easy ice cream dessert.........Yummy.

A friend of mine shared this one with me and I took it to a barbecue tonight. It's so simple, but delicious. It took me only 10 minutes to put it together. 2 boxes ice cream sandwiches 1 jar Hershey's hot fudge topping lightly salted peanuts 1 8 ounce container of Cool Whip Unwrap and press one box of ice cream sandwiches into the bottom of a 9 X 13 pan. Spread half of the fudge topping over the sandwiches. Sprinkle with peanuts. Repeat with second layer of ice cream sandwiches, fudge topping, and peanuts. Top with Cool Whip and freeze.

Finally selling the hybrid.......need pricing information

After 4 wonderful years, we are selling our hybrid. Where is the best place to get accurate pricing on used trailers? Thanks!! By the way, I've enjoyed being a part of this forum, and I will miss you all. My life circumstances have changed in the last year, and I don't anticipate camping for some time. I'm going to miss it. I'd love to keep the trailer, but it won't be practical for me to keep something this size. Best wishes and happy camping to you all!!

Recommendations for a panini maker/press

I want to buy a panini maker or press. What brand would you all recommend? I've seen some as much as $100, and I don't want to spend that much on one. Thanks for your recommendations.

RE: Purchasing New Hybrid pros and cons

I have a 2005 Jayfeather 25E. It's never leaked, and has only been in the repair shop once for something minor.....a piece of trim fell off. I would highly recommend a Jayco.

RE: ..has anyone lost their high school class ring...

My class ring was stolen along with my purse..........many years ago. I made the mistake of setting my purse on the floor next to my chair in a restaurant. When I reached down to pick it up, it was gone. I'd love to have it back just for sentimental reasons. I doubt if I'd ever wear it.

Need your best breakfast ideas..........

I'd like to make a fabulous breakfast for a few close friends. I don't want to make the typical bacon, eggs, biscuits, and gravy breakfast. And, this will be indoors.........not a camping event. Please share your best breakfast recipes to make it a memorable meal. Thanks in advance for your replies!!

RE: Things you don't say to your wife...A great video

I saw one of Tim's live shows last year. He's absolutely hilarious. I had tears rolling down my cheeks from laughing so hard. He lives nearby and occasionally attends my church. You should check out his website and consider ordering one of his DVDs. I bought his "Full Range of Motion" DVD. It's non-stop laughs from start to finish. You can check out his website at Tim Hawkins

RE: So, I went to a Golden Corral...

I also avoid buffets. A few years ago, I witnessed a family tasting foods on the buffet using the spoons provided in the dishes. I immediately put my plate down and left. That was the last time I visited a buffet. Just think of how many people touch those utensils without washing their hands. Gross. Yes, I know things go on behind the doors of restaurant kitchens. But, at least I don't see it with my own eyes.

RE: 23B owners ,dragging drains?

We have a 2005 Jayco 25E. We have never dragged the drain and we have traveled thousands of miles over some pretty rough terrain. Perhaps all of you need some driving/backing up lessons? :h LOL. :B

RE: Got a Chevy Cobalt?

I rented a Chevy Cobalt for a week last year while I was on vacation. It was one of the "loaded" models. It had leather seats, a sun roof, all electric, etc. I have to admit that I was very impressed with the car. I loved the way it drove and loved the gas mileage. It has plenty of room inside and a large trunk. I'm seriously considering buying one for myself.

RE: NEW 23J on the Jayco Website

I am surprised to see Jayco offering another kitchen slide floorplan. I wonder if they have learned from the design issues with their other kitchen slides, and come up with a more reliable way to configure it. My 26L's kitchen slide has LP, water, waste, electrical, and heat going through it. We haven't had problems with the water or waste yet, but there have been major issues with LP, electrical, and heat - due to the fact that they must slide in and out, and pass near the slide mechanisms. In fact, when we brought the unit home, the heat duct was already completely severed, the electric lines were being crushed by the slide-out rollers, and the LP line had been nearly cut through, due to abrasion. The heating duct has come loose since the repair, and I feel compelled to check things out under there frequently. I'd certainly be nervous about a kitchen slide in any future camper purchase. I'm sorry to hear you've had so many issues. We own a 2005 Jayco 25E with a kitchen slide, and we've never had any problems with it. Our Jayco hasn't required a single repair to date. Our "next" trailer will be a Jayco product. ;) I like the looks of the new 23J, but there isn't another hybrid on the market that can replace my 25E. ;)

RE: Need "special" dinner recipes.........

My "special dinner" was special indeed. ;) We had Porcini Encrusted Filet Mignons, Parmesan Smashed Potatoes, Avocado and Apple Salad, corn, and a French baguette. I made this awesome Malted Milk Ball Ice Cream Cake for dessert. It was yummy, and the evening was wonderful. Thanks again for all of your wonderful suggestions. I will definitely plan to use some of your ideas in the future.

Need "special" dinner recipes.........

I want to prepare a special dinner for a dear friend. I'm looking for your very best "restaurant quality" recipes. He's a "meat and potatoes" guy. Since it is SO COLD here now, I want something that I can prepare indoors. Please share your best dinner recipes. Thanks in advance!!

RE: Oh Alabama!!!???

Has there ever been a more overrated conference, year after year, in any sport than the SEC in football? Just wondering...... Major Ditto!! LOL. :B

RE: Branson - When and where in the spring??

We love Compton Ridge's "main campground". The 9 year old would love it. There is an indoor pool which will be open during the time you plan to visit. Honestly, I've stayed at ABC once, and I wouldn't go back. It's more of an RV park, and Compton Ridge offers more of a campground experience....with all of the amenities!! It's close to Silver Dollar City too. Have fun!!
