RE: Improving Forum?

I completely forgot about the pic thing...easier posting would be welcomed. Have you ever noticed when a corporation goes through changes to improve performance, costs, etc. that it is a 'new guy' that is brought in to initiate those changes? Someone that is not mired in the old way of thinking? Someone that can bring positive change and be admired by all? I ain't it. I just want info on tires.

RE: Improving Forum?

You will not see this post anytime soon as I am in the well of shame, but, since famousperson has 1) a Sierra Designs ASP two-person backpacking tent 2) a Mountain Hardware sleeping bag AND 3) a Thermorest 1 1/2" sleeping mat... I'd listen to the man. You don't get items like that without knowing what you're doing...not to mention the other qualifications.

Improving Forum?

Any suggestions or is everybody content with the status quo? How about a seperate category/forum that's immune from content deletion that can only be seen by members where anything can be expressed or discussed? This was my last post until I saw that sleepy would miss me...

RE: Posts deleted on a thread

We have lost interest in TC's and since we cannot discuss politics we have the next best thing and that is the politics of the forum. I don't think it's a lack of interest in TC's, just the forum.

RE: Posts deleted on a thread

Personally. I've never had a post removed. I've received emails from moderators and admin praising me for my exemplary behavior I've shown on this forum. This is one of the comments they sent telling me what they think of me... Professionally Initiate Superior Standards On Finest Forum I'm flattered, and will continue to do my best to uphold the fine examples set by the kind folks who run this site. God Bless.

RE: Bath Vent

Why not add a rheostat to the existing fan so it's adjustable, instead of the factory setting of 'off' to 'annoying'?

RE: Mr. Heater Little Buddy.

Wow...that's a lot of information. Maybe it would be easier to wear scuba gear when you're in your camper.

RE: Truth be told

You are remembering to service the water part of that heater; check the anode yearly as well as clean out the gunk in the tank, right? Good tip.

RE: Taveling with new partner

If being retired is one of the only things you have in common that you know of, I'd say 6 weeks would be a deal breaker. If you move forward with your plans, check her mental history and hide the steak knives...
