Late season kayaking on Alum Creek Lake in central Ohio. The lake is being drawn down 11 feet (usual winter draw-down is 3 feet) for work on a couple of the boat ramps. In these images the water is down about 5 feet from summer pool level.

this is a picture of the Royal Gorge bridge taken in the late 40s or early 50s I have driven across in I believe 1977 or 78 has anyone else

ps - never been to the Royal Gorge Bridge but I first learned about here on the PPT, way back when.

Been there,, drove across it first time in Sept. 1959... when moving to Rangley, Co.. DW even rode the California Zepher Train through there,, tracks in the bottom.. in 1960,, and again in 1962.

Yes Dave. I believe it was 79 because we were driving a 77 Dodge Aspen Wagon. Had some mirrors on it for towing. Got a little close to the side and scraped one of the mirrors. Thought my wife was going over me and out the window. LOL
