Another thought, what about the stoves they used in railroad cabooses? They used small potbelly stoves to heat the caboose many years ago. Don't know if it was wood or coal. Possibly both.
A friend had one in his living room, wasn't connected and didn't work, (he was a railroad nut, collected train stuff) but I remember thinking it might be great in a trailer used as a cabin.
