Well, I bought my second Christmas gift today. things are on a roll here. :0 Actually, I already bought my own kids their gifts. Even wrapped them and handed them out over the summer. Saved the possible expense of mailing them . Todays gift was for Art. Got him a new Ipod. I had gotten him one year before last and he loved it, but unfortunately.....someone loved it more than he did. Guess that happens, but when it happens in your own house and you have a good idea of who liked it so much... it makes you want to scream. Lesson learned tho about that person. Could be worse I guesS. Anyway, I know Art will love it. Heck, he did last time

Clear skies, sun is shining, light breeze.
Frosty last night, though!
The snow is pretty much staying on the North side of things. Mostly gone where the sun hits all day, though.
I packed the big bales in the hay shed too tight (pushed them with the Jeep). Now, it is difficult to get hay from the bale to feed the horses! I need something like a harpoon, that I can stick into the bale, and it will expand and rip a big chunk out of the bale.
Oh, well, I'll just keep ripping at it with the pitchfork and hay hooks...

Sounds like your having fun Jon. It's 73 degrees here right now, sunny all day, got up to 77. Everyone is gone. We had all 4 grandchildren last night...that was an adventure. Son and DIL headed back to Va. around 11:30 this morning, they're home and safe. Daughter picked up two granddaughters around noontime. Got to admit that I just woke up from taking a nap, I'll use the, "well, I got to go to work tonight excuse for that one"...Hope all of you are well and having a great day. This weather appears to be in a bit of a holding pattern. I'll take it for a while, Sunny warm day's and temps will be in the upper 30's to low 40's. In the process of taking a few things out to the 5er...hey, we leave Saturday morning....take care, catch ya later.

Making headway on the home chores around here too! Gutters are cleaned out, started some fall tree trimming. Might just burn all the branches in the backyard fire pit like last year. Getting started on my winter race bike projects. The final bit will be hauling them to St Paul for tuning by some top Ducati guys. They are going to be pretty special come spring. Can't wait.

Another fantastic day here today. Did hear the weather man whisper a couple of dirty words about the rest of the week tho. I went to wal mart today and when I returned to the car ( which has hookups on the front of it), right across from it in the next row, nose in to me there was another car with hookups on the front of it. Kind of an odd feeling to see one so unexpectedly. At walmart I bought a potty chair. Its so cute and pink and when she tinkles in it, it plays a little tune for her. When I got it home, I tried to get her to sit on it, but she would only sit on the edge. She thought I was trying to sabotoge her , wanting her to sit on that thing with a hole in the middle.

Happy anniversay Rosie! Looks like you have found a home here. A potty chair that sings a tune? Hmmmm....what will they think of next to raise our standard of living?

Wing, one that mommie would not have to clean would be the ultimate. No hope for that! It is a little cooler here today and rain is in our future they say. Same forcast for tomorrow too, but back up into the good temps on thursday. this area of the country is nuts. You either get too much rain or not enough. It beats all that snow tho.
