Looking for input on how a dealer determines the trade in value of an RV or travel trailer. We have all used NADA or some other reference to check but those numbers seem far different from what dealers are offering as a trade. Most times they will give you a value of your trade sight unseen. Most of us take pride in our units and keep them well maintained. We have all see what neglect can do to a camper. How does the dealer know this when they do not look at the unit? Does what your buying and it's price have a bearing on your trade, similar to an car or truck? Thanks for any help.
