Towed as is, it's only the 2005 and newer that can't

Deen,

Are you sure about the Passport? Is that the vehicle that was made by Isuzu?

I know Honda and Isuzu were in cohoots sometime in the 90's when Honda was trying to develop a decent 4WD quickly. They were working with Isuzu on some parts of it and I think Isuzu got one of the Honda vehicles to market in trade. That allowed Honda to enter the market with a 4WD offering quickly (even though it was mostly Isuzu). In exchange, Isuzu learned how to make a door close and sound solid!

I don't know what year that merger ended, but if it has an Isuzu tranny in it, it might not be towable.

Then again, I could be confusing the whole issue! LOL

Passport is a badge-engineered Isuzu Rodeo (Isuzu got nothing in return except what they got paid to manufacture them for Honda America).

I can't find any towable vehicle listings that go back to 1995, but Remco sells a driveshaft disconnect for the Rodeo, which suggests that the transfer case does not have a suitable neutral.
