Whose bright idea was it to schedule the 2008 rally during such a crappy weekend?
Man, the weather prior to and since has been outstanding. It makes me ill thinking about not getting out again until October 24th. With my luck there will be snow!
Yep, the weather last weekend AND this weekend was/is perfect for camping. Staying home this weekend..retirement party for my old boss Saturday evening, straighting out the camper on Sunday AND rooting for the Redskins. Our next planned trip is the weekend of Oct 17th-19th to check out Castaways in OC. Hope the weather cooperates

You are very welcome.
Even though our rally was 'alittle' rainy, it turned out to be a super weekend- We were really lucky that it didnt rain Saturday during our Yankee swap/ Lets Make A Deal.
Oh, to everyone who did attend, PLEASE drop a line to the sponsor who gracious donated a gift that you received. We had super support and I want them to know just how much we do appreciate their thoughtfulness.
Well, here's the start of another beautiful weekend. I've just dropped off my camper at the Goose Creek Campground here at NAS Patuxent River and now I'm at work. . . .well, ok, I'm not really working. . .just checking e-mail and stuff. Hope those that are going out have a safe and enjoyable trip!
Just saw the Strike Fighters (F-18's) doing "cats and traps" while I was pulling in to my site! That is awesome to see! We have kayaking, fishing, and crabbing on schedule for this weekend and nope, CoCo is not with me! Steph has to work so she'll stay home with her.

Hope you have a great weekend. Wish we were there with you. We tried to get ANYPLACE in NJ-even tried some state parks in NY, honestly everything was booked! Well I finally did find a place in south Jersey-she said she could "squeeze us in", however it was a 3 day minimun--forget it! We are staying home. So we are probally done for the season as Gary is having surgery on Monday(2 hernia's) so he won't be doing anything strenous for awhile.
Hope you have a great weekend

The weather here has been great! Won't be RVing out here until after we retire. However, looking at the landscape from the plane, I can't wait to see it from the ground.
