I purchased one of these but have a question. What if your black tank is behind the sealed underbelly. I know I can take that off for the install but I need to but it back. How do you connect the tornado if the hose connector is behind the underbelly seal? Am I being obtuse here?

Thanks
Kathy

you run the hose out to a connector that they make for this purpose.

Bumpy's right. The Tornado has the remote hose connector you mount facing to the side of the RV.

The tornado come single and as the whole kit. Sounds like you just bought the tornado. The kit is so much easier

Hmm, didn't see a kit, in fact there was only one Tornado left when I went to Camping World. They are right up the street, I'll take it back and ask about the remote connection one. I think the whole point of my question was that nobody would crawl under their RV to connect this thing and that something was missing.

I remember installing mine...the stench from the drained tank was about enough to make me vomit while I was laying under the trailer putting it in...next time its going on before I use it or I'm paying someone else to do it.

Not being obtuse at all - now you know that they are offered in two different versions ...

Yeah, it really doesn't make much sense to offer the Tornado without the hose and valve and mount... I would take it back as you suggest your going to do and ask for the other version of this device...

BTW, it does a fine job of keeping the black tank cleaned when used on a regular basis...

On my previous motorhome I had it added at Camping world. The fella doing the installation seemed to be glad when I told him that the black tank hadn't been "loaded up" yet as the unit was brand new.
