Try a set of TV mounts on the floor and table leg. Simple and no straps to store.... We have had several customers that have taken the table and turned it 90 degrees to open up access when closed up. It also allows you to leave the add-a-leaf in when traveling.

I'm with you brother.... Just signed on the dotted line for a 2009 Cameo 35SB3. Been looking for about 4 years, and finally took the plunge. Just a few questions for the forum: What are people's thoughts on extended warranties and paint, underbody and fabric sealant? The dealer was pretty pushy on us getting these things. A seven year extended warranty for $2000.00 and sealant coverage for $1000.00. Appreciate any and all info. We pick up the unit in two weeks.

we have a carri-lite and the table is bolted to the floor. We have a 2007 and love it. we are full timers and bought our unit new. We had an excel which leaked like a sieve. We took it back to Peterson's and they fixed it (we paid for it) and six months later it was leaking again. We traded it in on a carriage and have been happy ever since....

Congradulations on the new SB3. Great floor plan. The table in our KS3 is not secured to the floor and never moves in transit. I don't think I would be too worried about removing the screws. We move our table from time to time when in the rig.

the table is screwed to the floor the reason you cant see how to move it is the screws are hidden by round plugs look for them on the base and pull them out. then unscrew and relocate. good luck with the new 5ver

BrettB:

I would never buy a ext warranty. keep in mind if a dealer is selling it your probably getting ripped off. take delivery then look for a ext. warranty after the sale and you will save $$$$$$$$$$$. as for sealant warranty you must be joking me. remember you are warrantied for a year or two out of the gate. and have that time to decide if you need a ext. warranty

Thanks, fishbarned. I do see the wood plugs and attempted (very gingerly to keep from scarring my brand new table!) to take them out. I guess I will need to apply a bit more pressure. Someone else suggested drilling into the wood plugs, removing the screws, and then filling the hole back in with wood putty.

BrettB, congratulations!! You will love it. Being in ours is as close to perfection as we will find this side of heaven.

Happy Trails!!

I agree! And if the dealer goes out of business you could be left holding the bag, maybe. The dealers are making a lot of bucks on those extended warranties.

Congratulations on your new Cameo. You will love it! Great company to stand behind their product.

The table has screws that hold it down under the wood plugs. We moved our table. Never had it fall during travel.
Finally taking the table out and putting a desk there. Usine the island for eating with two bar stools.
