A little additional information as to your likes, hobbies, approximate dates, how much time are you able to be in Ontario, would be helpful. This is a very large Province (will take 2 to 3 days of hard driving just to go from eastern end to the western end.) Province is basically two main areas, Southern Ontario (smallest section) and Northern Ontario.

WOW...........

How much time do you have ?

It is bigger than Texas, has over 250,000 lakes and rivers in it, and it stretches from Niagara Falls to the arctic tundra . To drive from the border with Quebec to the next Province to the west, Manitoba, will take you 3 full days.

Ontario has about one third of all the population of Canada, living in it.

here is a link to the Province of Ontario's tourism information website. They will send you free printed information, if you ask for it. Our slogan is "yours to discover ". Turn ON your speakers to HEAR the commercials.

Here is the site to request printed materials to be sent to your home address.

And finally, a map of my Province.

Here are what I would think are some of the must see Provincial (State) Parks

1) Killarney Provincial Park
2) Lake Superior Provincial Park (Agawa Bay, Pancake Bay, Neyes)
3) Algonquin Provincial Park

Other attractions:

CN Tower
Niagara Falls and Winery Regions

As the poster above recommends check out the tourism sites, as there are so many things to see and do...I am partial to the lakes and nature that you can see.

Enjoy.

Ontario is approximately 1200 miles West to East. You won't "see" it in a couple of days. There's a lot there and lots of Provincial parks to stay at.
Depends on your interests.

The Greater Toronto Area (GTA) isn't really RV friendly. There are a couple of provincial parks west of Toronto. Are set up to handle RVs?

My brother when he first got his 5er stayed at Grangeways (NE of Toronto) for one night. He said the place was full of homesteaders. Not his idea of a CG.

Fulltimers. No more grass to cut, no more leaves to rake, and can move if we don't like our neighbors.

States we spent time in, drive throughs not marked.

Just spent about 10 days up in the Bruce Peninsula. Fabulous scenery! one needs to see the quaint lil Port on the far north tip known as Tobermory. Maybe take one of their glass bottom boat trips. find out about Canada's InukShuk Icon
