We bought our 2008 Fleetwood Wilderness 240RKS a little over a year ago. Our family loves it, we've made approximately 10 trips, and slept in it for about 30 nights. Our family has a great time in it.

As fun as camping is, I think I enjoy modding it almost as much. Here are some of the mods that I've done so far. First, here is a picture of our trailer:

Ok, the mods, in no particular order...

Tornado Black Tank Fulsh:

Replaced old-fashioned interior lamp with this one:

Oxygenics shower head, and new holder, higher up:

Battery cut-off switch:

Atwood power jack:

Custom window shades for when trailer is stored, made from tin-foil bubble wrap insulation from Lowes:

Step-rugs:

TV mount in main cabin:

TV mount in bedroom:

iPod link to Jensen radio:

Digital thermostat (GREAT mod!):

Oak towel rack in bathroom:

I also added matching oak magazine rack in bathroom:

UPDATE 9-19-09

I just added a Carefree Skylight Shade on shower skylight:

UPDATE 9-23-09

Just installed my MaxxFan in the kitchen. Cutting a big hole in the roof was a little scary...

UPDATE 9-28-09

Added Winegard Wingman to batwing antenna (no pics).

Upgraded loud, inefficient bathroom fan from this:

To this:

This is a Vortex Fan, purchased off of Amazon. Also added wall switch to turn fan on and off, instead of reaching for button on ceiling.

UPDATE 11-09-09

Replaced battery straps with locking battery brackets, from B & D RV Battery Lock

Original Straps:

New locking brackets:

These are most of what I've done so far, I will update it as I do more mods.

Very nice (and essential) mods! That's the fun part of a new TT ... adding the things that fit your needs.

I have the same trailer in the Prowler line. Nice mods I like the towel rack. I need one of those.

Good work! I love doing mods too. I'm addicted to it. Probably going to add accumulator tank, flexible supply lines to faucets, and cushion mount for water pump this weekend. That should quiet it down and reduce pump cycle. Happy camping!

Nice work. As for the Oxygenics Shower Head upgrade, are there 2 models? An RV model and Home model? I want to buy one off ebay but I see Camping World sells an "RV" model. Thanks in advance.
