I have noticed people in the truck camper forum seem to have two RV, so it must be ok. So I'm not nuts. Something to be said for just getting in your turck and go and not worry about if the site will fit your camper. Why do you have two.

I have a 5'er but I regret to say it hasn't been out of the yard in 3 years. It's just so much easier to go out for a night or two in the TC. No stress or worries.

We have two for two different styles of camping. In the spring summer & early fall it's to the lakes & forest & rivers for fishing. In the late fall & winter we like to spend our time at the coast where the weather adheres to more sunshine than the valley with it's fog & cooler temps. We bought the 5vr 1st anticipating retirement & traveling in the years to come. We found that while waiting for retirement we missed the places we tent camped that the 32' 5vr just doesn't fit.

We had purchased our 27' TT with the intent of doing a lot of camping around the Sierras and some Pac Coast trips, but life handed us a different set of cards. While we still have our TT, we use our Lance 805 TC more then the long monster. We can't get away for a week at a time as originally though and often only for a couple of days when we can, the TC better suits our needs at the moment. We will keep our TT if for no other reason then to have a roof over our head should the economy get worse, but the little Lance works well for us.

A guy actually needs 3!! A pop up on a built 4x4, a good size hardside on a dually for boating and Jeeping and a 26-28 foot TT for extended stays with room in the back of the truck for toys!!!

But I'm afraid my pop up will have to be one of these behind the Rubicon!!!

I have two, a fifth wheel toy hauler, and an S&S truck camper. We started with the fifth wheel and used it extensively to travel out west in 2006. We found that many of the places we wanted to stay at or visit were difficult with a 36 ft. toy hauler. We found the S&S 11FBSC as a left-over 2008 model. Since purchasing it in February we have been all over the southestern U.S. It is much easier to loadand unload and I purchased a 16 ft. cargo trailer for the ATV and Harley. The trailer also gives us the freedom to carry many other items. We can fit in most places now without difficulty. My wife and I even use it for day trips to the beach and our grandaughters college. It is am amazingly versatile piece of equipment.

We did have a 5th but it is sold. I never missed it till we were planning a camping trip with our church youth group and I realized we could not sleep an additional 5 kids. Guess we'll take the tent!
