Oh, I didn't know that. I know they used to sell 6, 8 and 12 volt batteries.
Uhh, yes they do sell 6V Golf Cart Batteries and I just bought 4 of them there. $75 ea plus the State disposal fee of $9. They only had three on the shelf when I went in at first before I took my Toy Hauler in to get them and they got one from another Local Costco.
They did all the removal from the tight spot they fit in, reconnected all wires to make 12v. They even tested them with a Hydrometer and Battery Tester at my request before we put them in.
Can't say enough about the Great Service I got from them. But maybe not all of them sell them or is a State thing.
OBTW I have never seen an 8V Battery anywhere of the vehicle type. Is that a Marine or Aircraft application?

And COSTCO does not have the 6 volt deep cycle batteries....wonder why?
I thought the date stickers on batts indicate the MONTH/YEAR of manufacture??
You sure those aren't three year old batts? Just curious is anyone knows as I've purchased automotive batts that had the date stickers that indicated month/year so the seller could identify how old it was for warranty replacement....

Depends on the costco. The one right by my house? no, the one 15 miles away? yes and a lot of them. The same with Walmart.

Depends on where you live - I saw the following batteries in the hillsboro, Oregon Costco yesterday...
1. 12 volt kirkland brand group 24
2. 12 volt kirkland brand group 27
3. 6 volt Golf cart battery in white case. Labeled gc2.

The pair I just bought last month at Sam's Club had stickers with 8/09 on them, assuming that meant August 2009.

Well, the Costco I was at clearly did not have any 6v batteries, but I'm pretty sure the one closer to my house has had them. Their battery display area is larger, too.
