With the diesel dually it should not be a problem. But if you go by what the weight police say,you will need a HDT.

The weight police as you call them like to do the math. Your statement "should not be a problem" is a guess!

I supect you will need a 450-550, you will need to do the math to be sure your getting the proper truck.

2003 Jayco 308fbs eagle 33' tt, towed by a 2003 Ram 3500 slt, quad cab dually, cummins diesel ho, trailer towing package, with 6 speed manual. Hauls better 1/2, 3 kids, myself, and a 2003 ez go clays car.. I have added so far, neon lights, clearance lights, back up lights, black light, lift kit, mud tires, and everything necessary to make the golf cart street legal. It's now ready to spend the winter in the garage for more mods. More neon, strobe lights, alarm, a pa system, maintance, and whatever else that comes along. This golf cart does wheelies and travels thru 7 inches of mud when need be. Two honda eu2000i gens twinned to supply the electrical power. Latest addition an 04 Honda Goldwing. 13,199 + 4801 = 18,000 GVWR. I prefer to use the 25% hitch weight, more truck is better than not enough. 18,000 x 25% = 4,500 pounds your truck will have to carry, also add in passengers, fuel, hitch weight app 200 pounds, and anything else you will add into or on the truck.

You will need the trucks GVWR and actual weight of the truck in question then you can decided if it is enough truck. A little math now saves problems later. Do not let a salesperson tell you what will do the job, or someone that just thinks it will work!

It is better to have more truck than you need, than to need more truck than you have!

I would agree the minimum would be an F350 dually. Your dry weight is what my actual weight is, and pin weight is the same as my last actual pin weight I checked, and I think I'm over the limit already with the single rear wheel F350. Yours has the potential to get real heavy on the pin with all that carrying capacity, not to mention where the GVW is heading.

At least a 1 ton dually. You most likely will be over the GCW? (total weight rating) for it. I know the new Dodge 1 tons have a rating of 24000. Your looking more like 18k plus 8k= 26000. If you could keep the cargo down to 2500 or so you should be good.
