"OUCH....WOW.....SPLAT....why would I be defensive...did you see my little smily faces? Just leading you along. I knew that my short
little post would pull you into a great defensive oratory. It worked.

Amazing, our weights are almost exactly the same. Big difference
is I have another axle. About 33% more brakes on trailer. No wonder
I feel good when I tow
NCHauler, dont take all this so serious. Lets enjoy this great Saturday morning we have been given with a smile on our face. "

Having three axles on ones 5er doesn't make it anymore "right" or "wrong" to tow with a truck that can't handle the weight. You appear to have all your bases covered, as I do. I feel great about my tow also and truck is stock and brakes on my trailer do a most excellent job. Truck tows great, more than enough power, far more than enough for a stock truck and more than enough braking power, the Allison is one awesome tranny...

Defensive oratory...wow, feel almost good about it if I didn't feel your comment was reeked with sarcasm..you call me out, I answer with facts, nuff said on that..smiley faces or not....

I take towing seriously, especially when with family on the road, I don't want to be unsafe to me, my family or others, thus the reason I get called the "weight police" so often and when someone talks about towing an 18,000# 5er with a 3500 DRW truck, sorry, I'll say something about it.

I thank the Lord for every extra day he gives me, so with that, I bid you adieu, we're babysitting 4 grandkids today and one is waiting to play a computer game...you win, your smarter, wiser and already know all...I concede to your superior intellect...
