This forum has and continues to provide solutions and to answer questions that would otherwise go unanswered. I certainly appreciate this forum more than words can express. Keep up the good work! Jim

Agreed. This forum has the most knowledgable participants of any I've ever visited. I was a regular on an un-moderated RV newsgroup for a while and I became so disgusted with the off-topic ranting by a small number of what I consider to be total nut-cases that I no longer visit. Incidentally, has anyone met a person who is "gusted"?

The only other RV-related web-site I go to regularly is the Lazy Daze site. Yahoo groups leaves a lot to be desired compared to this site!

I can't convince DW that a 30' Class A is a viable rig. She won't consider anything longer than our previous 26-foot Class C and would prefer it be shorter! She also prefers the van-style front end, with its automotive safety features, a position I can't argue with. We aren't interested in using the cab-over bed, so we might be looking at B+ rigs like the BT Cruiser and the various Lexingtons.

From a quality of construction point of view, I've concluded that a mid-1990s 26.5' rear bath or rear kitchen LD is probably our best shot (I think I can fudge the extra 6"!). Boy are those rigs pricey! We'd consider Born Free and Chinook also, but I'm still doing the research.

Comments?

Mr Mike Schneider,

I wish to give thanks to you and your staff for RV.Net. It is one vehicle to keep interest in the RV environment in this time of economic stress.

I also want to ask, as others have, please stop the unnecessary mailings of Good Sam membership info, and the never ending insurance requests. To those already club members it is a slap in the face, making us wonder what is going on. If not a member, one would probably also wonder, do I want to belong to an organization with such little concern. I would like to know the cost of these mailings to me alone. I am sure Affinity's mailings and print cost would decrease by a considerable sum.

Again thanks for the good you do for the RV community.

Thanks Mike
Almost every day, for the last couple of years, I have jumped on the Class A and the Mexico forums and spent at least a few minutes, maybe longer. I appreciate the opportunity to communicate with so many fellow RVers.
I work in the RV industry and recognise the challenges you are facing. Keep up the good work.Or as us Canadians would say "keep your stick on the ice"
