Car rental is quite expensive here, check prices before you decide.

Well I am leaving home on tommorrow and I don't have a way to tow our cars, yet! So I guess I will have to wing it, and try to figure something out by time I get to the RGV. Hopefully I will meet some of you people while we are down there. Gary

We didn't have a car the first time we went to the RGV,when the other people in our park found out we had many offers of rides. The people were constantly asking us along when they went shopping or going out to eat. We became good friends of one couple. The following year we had our Jeep with.

My wife just followed me from Pennsylvania to Florida 12 days ago. We drove a total of 989 miles.

I see no problem with the wife following in the car. We stayed in touch with our cellphones and I stopped frequently so she could use the motorhome bathroom.

There is the additional expense of gas for the car.

Worked well for our 6 months FL stay.
