I have a Jayco 32BHDS and in the entertainment unit that separates the bedroom from the rest of the TT, there was this gaping hole below the television and next to the radio. Stuff was always falling out onto the kids, and the wired mess that made up for the satellite box and other gadgets became an eyesore.
So here is what I did:
It was about an hour putting it together. I had all of the wood in my shop. The stain coat took about 4 hrs. It keeps everything in place and those ugly electronics outa sight.

Great Mod.
Here is a suggestion. Remove OEM handle from a bathroom cabinet or in the bed room and switch with the new handle. Bathroom will not be in plan site like your new mod.

Thats a good idea. I thought about just getting a new handle from Jayco, but didnt want the hassle (probably wouldn't be in reality). I will try the switch and see what happens.
I almost forgot to mention this, because somebody asked me before- how do I change the Direct TV receiver when the cover is down, or when the TV is flipped around to the bedroom and we are watching in there while the receiver is facing the opposite direction. Direct TV sells an RF remote ($25.00) that will go through just about anything, and thats what I use, so it matters not where that receiver is. You just need to make sure your receiver will match an RF remote, and they will run you through that on the phone to be sure.
