Does anyone know if the Red Tide is still at SPI?

How is the air quality?

Have the dead fish been cleaned up?

We have been wanting to run over there for the day but we are waiting to hear the air has cleared up.

Thanks,
Shirley

I called the national seashore park just out side of Corpus and they said the air quality was better but tide was high. She said the high tide helped clear off some of the dead fish but it brought up more debris. she did say some other areas were still reporting bad air quality.

We are planning a trip there Thanksgiving if this clears up. I am hoping the the tropical storm stirred it up or moved it out. I will be calling back next week.

Don't know about the SPI area, but if you go to www.caller.com you can find information about the Corpus area.

We still felt the burn of Red Tide on Sunday. When we were loading in at Club Pelican West it wasn't so bad (that was at 5 pm) but when we were loading out after midnight it was pretty noticeable. It may not be as much of a bother for some but Sharon & I will be skipping Sundays at Club Pelican West now till Jan.
The Red Tide irritates my throat making it bothersome for singing (what with all the coughing and all)
Hope this helps you with your decision.

Thanks for the replies.

I will not be going to SPI until I hear an "all clear".

I have enough allergy problems.
