We went with RVW for our Rockwood ultra 8317 because no other dealer came close to their price.
Get the electric tongue jack! Worth the cost. We have the 15K air and glad we do- it gets super hot and humid here. I love the day-night shades instead of mini-blinds. They are so much easier, although they do get stuck on the window cranks sometimes. Rockwoods have an enclosed and heated underbelly so heated tanks won't be neccessary unless you are doing really cold winter camping. We did get the slide-out awning and like it for keeping the top of the slide clean and dry. We also got the fantatic fan-it works great for quickly clearing hot air out of the TT and creating a nice flow of air. We did not get the rain cap from RVW-DH did that himself. Good luck with your purchase!!

I would reccomend the tinted windows if you camp alot where it is hot.

Three options from your list that we wish we had gotten:
1. The slideout awning. It is a real pain cleaning off the leaves, pine cones & straw, and other debris from the slideout top.
2. The Tire Pressure Monitoring system would sure give one peace of mind knowing that if you start to lose pressure in a tire you will know it before it blows and destroys part of your trailer.
3. The Fantastic Fan. We like cool fresh air at night without having to open windows.
4. After one trip manually cranking the tongue up and down, I added a Barker 3000 tongue jack and would not be without it.

BTW, I agree with JJBIRISH on tires, shocks, axles and loading of the trailer.

With kids & taking friends all the time, the one thing i really regret letting the DH talk me out of was the bigger fridge!!

Add a power tongue jack to your list, you can buy and install it yourself and save a few bucks. Vent covers are nice and get a decent sewer hose kit. The one that comes in the RV starter kit is cheap and cheesy.

My opinions:

12V Dry Cell EV/Deep Cycle Sealed Battery - I'd get 2 golf cart batteries

Minimum Carpet - I'd avoid carpet

Heated Holding Tanks - Up here in Canada very nice, where you are I can't see a reason.

Slideout Awning - never had on no opinion

15.0K BTU Ducted Air Conditioner - 13.5 works great on my 30' trailer, so bigger AC would be overkill and require a bigger generator to run.

Day/Night Shades - would be nice

Aluminum Wheels - they look nice but not req'd

Tire Pressure Monitoring System - would be nice

Fantastic Fan - absolutely

RainKap - don't know what it is

RV Cover - nope

DSI water heater
black tank flusher
plexiglass on screen door
alum rims

see no need for the other stuff.

What is the advantage of aluminum wheels? I don't get it.

They are pretty. I get lots of comment on mine, but they have yet to make my camping trip more enjoyable. They do add curb appeal at resale time.
