I was thinking of adding a light to the outside wall so I can see the hookups at night (water and electric) The water heater, water inlet, and shore power hookups are all bunched together inbetween 2 slides on the Jayco 32BHDS. Im not worried about finding the right light, its HOW I hook it up that has me wondering. Any ideas.......

One of the best lights you can put on is a Solar light you can get them many places for under $50 They come complete with charging panel and battery and light and they do not need very much wireing and you do not have to drill any holes in your unit. Some are switched and some are turned on by motion. Eddy

There are lots of led battery operated lights available. I really like my led headlight. I keep it in a very convenient place and use it all the time. It seems like trying to work in the backs of cabinets is always an issue because of the lack of light. The headlight works great and always pointed in the right direction.

Like YC_1 I first contemplated adding a light to the back side of my rig but I chose to simplify and use a LED headlamp. Portable/rechargeable, life's good.

Me too! Simple solution to a simple problem and useful for MANY other things as well. KISS principal in action.

I believe they means a head strap lamp, not a headlamp from a auto.

I use a LED light that clips to my hat brim, or any other convenient place. Not overly bright and very handy. I also use the rounded, battery operated puck LEDs thoughtout the trailer. VERY handy and no wiring. I'm amazed at how long the batteries last. Velcro mounting makes them handy to rip off and carry around. Even have them mounted inside my cargo holds.
