To anyone that has the Plastic under carriage storage containers from Lippert that slide out for access on their trailer. These are normally found on the bigger toy haulers I believe. Are these containers waterproof? I just saw on the Lippert site that these things can be ordered and just bolted onto any trailer and would love to have some. Just curious if these are meant for things that can get wet or can one put things in there that need to stay dry.

Well, mine do not seem to be waterproof as there are holes in the covers on top. I need a new one now as I bunged it up pulling off a leveling board and it got caught between the 3rd wheel and the actual box, crumpled it up, bummer.

Mine are not waterproof. There are holes in the top and bottom, and you will end up with water in the tubs if you do any driving. Wheels throw off water, and it drains from the top of the tub to the inside through a whole in the recessed lid.

I use one side to store my sewer hoses, and the other for wheel chocks. No way to lock them up, but no-one is going to steal a stinky slinky, and I'm not out too much if my wheel chocks walk off.
