Hi All,
A postcard from lovely Kanab, UT.
My inverter stopped working the other day in AZ. Didn't need it for a while... no TV reception at Mather CG in South Rim,
My rig is an 06 RT RS Adventurous. Battery power never got below the 1/3 mark (if I believe the info) and I have no reason to believe that the inverter shut down on it's own. I followed the RT manual recommendations to restart the inverter. Nothing.
Checked the 15 amp fuse. Looked fine but changed it anyways. Nothing.
THEN decided to check inverter connections.
Three prong plug worked its way loose. WOW, that must have been alot of vibration.
Now if I can just get the supersensitive driver side running light to stay on... maybe I'll tape it in place.
Moral: As usual START AT THE BEGINNING.

Happy trails,
Jay in increasingly cold Utah.

Jay,

I'm reminded of the scene in Sling Blade where they are trying to start a garden tiller and call over Carl to take a look at it. He checks and finds that the tiller has no gas. His boss says: "See Skeeter, he always checks the simplest thing first."

You are a long way from home. Travel safely.
