Our furnace broke. The cage inside it busted and we had to go and get it replaced. We took it to a Jayco dealer and they were able to get a new cage and fix some wiring on it. However, when we brought it back and installed it again, it won't turn on? Any suggestions on what we may be missing?

We need a little more information here. What kind of furnace is it? When you say it won't turn on, what do you mean? Is the blower running, but no flame, or is the blower not running?

It's our heater in the TT. When we go to turn it on from the thermostat it it won't click on at all. My hubby has checked to make sure that there is juice in the wires, and it still is not coming on. My guess is going to be that there is a dead wire somewhere, but not sure.

To start, make sure all wires are in the correct place. Check all fusses also. It sounds to me like there might be a ground wire off somewhere.

the furnace is an atwood hydro flame. the wires are hot, the wire to the thermostat is hot. but when you turn the thermostat on and adjust the temp, the unit will not come on. i have checked the fuses and the problem is not in the unit being hot, it is. it automatically lights itself when you run out of propane so, that shouldnt be the problem. i give up, i havent got a clue as to why it isnt working.

There has to be a short in there somewhere. Wires getting hot is a good indicator.

Now something new... Our microwave completely freaked out and won't come on. Or let me correct myself. If I open up the door it's turning, but nothing on the outside indicates that... What the heck!?

I am sorry but you have me totally confused on what the problem is…

Do you have 12V to the furnace motor but the blower motor still isn’t running??? Or are you not getting voltage to it???

Did you check to see if the motor worked before reinstalling it????

I think he means "hot" electrically, not "hot" as in temperature. I'm not sure, but I think that is what he/she means.

When I re-read your original post, I noticed that you had a dealer replace your cage, and do some re-wiring of your furnace. If that is correct, my first guess is that the dealer messed up something when they re-wired the furnace and that is where your problem is. How far away is the dealer? If close, take it back and have them fix it. If not, please take your time and tell us exactly what you have. What brand furnace? What model? Telling us you have a Jayco is not enough. We want to know about the furnace. Please try to be clear so as not to confuse anyone. Thanks
