Stayed at a lake front site and had a couple walk the shore with there dog off of the leash, as they approached our site they stopped and leashed there dog, walked on by and smiled and nodded, My dog sat there watching (off leash). I have no problem with that, my dog and I have an understanding, can't behave,,,can't come along!!
I'll speak my mind when that dog comes on to the site I have rented.
But unless you are going to compensate me for my time and involvement I am not going to 'police/enforce' your rules. You are the owner and either you or your on-site management needs to be doing that. You have the authority to 'correct' bad behavior (human/animal).
If it continues.....then you need to correct it.
I'll police my site but not your park. I had a job but now I don't, nor do I want one.

Confused, did that mean he was about to attack or just wanted a pat on the head?
From what you describe, my guess is the owners knew the dog had aggressive tendencies. But w/o any of us seeing the incident and being able to observe the dog's posture and overall body language, it's impossible to say what the dog had in mind. But I'd say trust your instincts and the fear you detected in the humans' actions.
Definitely sounds like the dog is less than social with humans, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say.... dog also likes bacon and since dogs can't really think about two things at once, was focused on that.
I think if I were running an rv park, rule one on dogs is I'd have to meet them and have them meet dogs before they come in the park.
Fuzzy Wuzzy was a wabbit, Fuzzy Wuzzy had a dandelion habit! RIP little Wuz... don't go far.
You Gotta love how a post about an "unleashed" dog has become a Park Owners Rant of everything Dog. What a bunch of "Dog Pockey".......its too bad we cant judge all CG owners with the same brush as we want to dog owners. I know our resident "friendly" CG owner is too CS to ID his Park, but it sure would be nice to know so that one could be sure to avoid it! IMHO
