Clarifying - when I said "spigot" I was actually thinking about the water connection at the site. We have a connecter that will allow us to hook up an additional hose, if we needed to - don't know why we would need to, but we have it. Don't recall ever using our outside shower for anything - not sure DH ever rinses out the pink stuff leftover from winterizing. We have never and would never dump the grey tank anywhere besides into the blue tote or at the dump station, but I'm just thinking more about the folks who actually wash up with soap at the outside shower or do dishes. Just seems to me that there is really no difference. OTOH, we do wash the electric skillet and it occurs to me that this is probably borderline if you take the rules and etiquette to the letter. But still don't know what tent campers are supposed to do. Back in the day.....we did just take our soapy water pan and rinse pan and watered a bush with it.

The FL CG we stayed at this spring had a really nice 2 sink area with space for your dirty dishes and a drainer for the clean ones. It was right along with the laundry area. Very nice.

Just the volume. Tent campers tend to to create less.

I've seen the connectors used where there is no on-site spigot. You put the connector on the public spigot at the road and as long as you are close enough, you run your hose to one of them. I guess you'd disconnect it all after you use the shower, the ones I saw left themselves hooked up. This was at Wolf's Neck in Me.

My only use of the outside shower was to clean my grill grate a couple times. I would not as a matter of standard practice, clean my dishes at the spigot in the site either. If there were special circumstances and no public wash sink, maybe. I'd not dump the water at the spigot irreguardless, dump it in the woods.
