I just purchased a new Outdoors RV Back Country 18f, I LOVE it so far! But what I dont love is the crappy cardboard jensen speakers it came with, I like listening to music while Im hanging out in the camper, so my first upgrade will be the speakers it only has two 5 1/4" speakers in the ceiling. I want to upgrade the the 2 speakers & nothing else, I dont play the music very loud inside the camper, I just want a pair of speakers that sound great without adding a sub or anything else. Any recommendations?

kenwood and alpine come to mind. i ended up with kenwood 6x8s in the doors of the rv, plus an old jensen sub under the dinette seat.

Anything labeled full range will be less than ideal. Also, stay away from anything that says it has a whizzer cone. What you want is a two-way or maybe even a three-way speaker. These have individual tweeters in addition to the main cone.
