What is the typical ball size on a 26 ft travel trailer. A Dutchman if i am to be specific, thanks

what good is this thing going to do?


exactly what I was thinking. 2 & 5/16 is the correct ball size, but a weight distributing hitch is highly recomended for this size travel trailer.

Those things are for light trailers (notice it's hollow?) and don't have the ratings for a common 26' TT and besides, you need a WDH.
Your hitch will be 2 5/16 as the other posters have said.

I see what you all are saying. I use one of these as my boat trailer is 2 inch and by dump trailer is 2-5/16. I pull a 5th wheel so it does work fine for me.

Most double axle trailers have 2 5/16" balls.

At a minimum you want something with an adjustable height. Unless you are towing this TT with a 1-ton, you will want a weight distributing hitch, which are usually sold as kits that include everything you need.
