RE: Camping on Cailf hwy 101

pbar34 as javaseuf said its First come, first served.
I would think the county will put it up to $50.00 a night just because thats what the state is getting.
Its ALL about the money in Calif.
127 sites at 25 a night( all full in the summer= $3175.00 per day
127 sites at 50 a night( all full in the summer= $6350.00 per day
3 mons being full(summer) would be about 90 days X 6350.00 about 571,500.00
Not to bad al all for the county.Even if they leave it at 25.00 its still 285,750.00
Thanks Don and Barb

RE: Camping on Cailf hwy 101

Thanks. We will be heading south from pismo this morning. The place I was thinking of is right on the side of the hwy looking over the ocean. Its just a big wide spot. We went by it in 2007 but it was full. Someone told us it was county.
We will try rincon.
Thanks Don and Barb

We are now in Pismo and would like to stay a night on the way home.

Missing!!!

APPLE VALLEY • An elderly couple has gone missing as they made their way back to Apple Valley from Missouri in a motor home, and officials are asking for the public’s help in tracking them down.
Beverly and James Harley had been traveling and camping in their tan, 1995 Holiday Rambler motor home for several weeks. Officials from the San Bernardino County Sheriff Department’s Victorville station said the Harleys have kept in constant contact with family members during the trip.
Family members last heard from the Harleys around 7:43 p.m. Monday. The couple was reportedly in Franklin County, Mo. at that time and headed home to Apple Valley. Numerous attempts to contact them by cell phone have been made but there has been no answer.
Officials said the Harleys are both in good health and there are no obvious reasons to expect them to be delayed in their return home.
Beverly Harley, 73, is described as a white female. She weighs 140 pounds and stands 5-feet, 3-inches tall.
James Harley, 76, is a white male, 200 pounds and 5-feet, 9-inches tall.
Anyone with information on the couple’s whereabouts is asked to call the Victorville station at 241-2911 or WeTip at (800) 78-CRIME

Washed the motorhome the other day and also washed the steps. After this was done the steps would not go in till it had dried.
Then it would work fine. Anytime they get wet its the same thing.
