RE: Wisconsin Dells

We were just at the "Dells" last weekend. Stayed at a campground called Bonanza. It was decent but the real kicker was with each night stay ($44 w/tax and full hookups) we got 4 tickets free for Mt Olympus. It is a HUGE water/amusement park and the campground is right across the street. We would drive the motorhome across the street (very very busy street) then use it for lunchs and rest time for a full day there. Mt. Olympus has something for every age. Our girls are 8 and 10 years old. We all had a a great time. I do not work there or have any financial interest in either place.

jeep wrangler a/c or not?

Looking to buy a Jeep Wrangler (toad) for our trips out west (Badlands,Yellow Stone...etc). I know it does get hot out west but would it be advisable to have a/c in the jeep? Even with the top down does it get hot enough to the point of being no longer enjoyable? We have two daughters (8&10 years old). Vacation time is precious so being able to utilize our time to the most is important. Not sure if this the right forum for this posting but your advice is appreciated.

boondocking with/without a toad

We are new to motorhome camping. Most of our camping has been in campgrounds in Wisconsin using a towable camper. Just purchased a 30' pace arrow. We have two daughters (ages 9 and 10) and we would like to explore the country (especially the west, yellowstone, grand canyon,badlands....etc). The girls are pretty low key and do not really need the campground activities. We would like to stay at some of the National State Forest campgrounds and other possible campgrounds that are more quiet or just boondock. After saying all of that would parking the motorhome and doing the sightseeing in a toad (looking at a jeep wrangler)be worthwhile or just use the motorhome?I realize that relying on the motorhome to sight see will obviously limit us but is there enough sights to see or would we see alot more using the jeep? I know this question(s)covers a lot of different circumstances but your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
