I'd like to hear from Ford owners... how do they feel about the integrated trailer brake.
I'm suspicious of that "feature" even though it should be a simple one, they are vehicle manufacturers not component folks. I guess I'd feel better if the Ram or Ford folks were proud enough to say how they came about this part.
If you want to start a pissing match post up about brake controllers, who builds the better aftermarket trany, the best power adders for a given vehicle or what fuel is superior and you will see my point.
I'm not a Ford owner, but I have heard that they like it, and the GM guys like theirs as well. I personally have had experiance with the Fords controller and didn't like it. Not as user freindly in problems as my aftermarket P3, and replacing them when they go bad is high dollar. One of our test trucks built in controller went bad.

I have owned Chevrolet's, Ford's and a Dodge. I have always been a Ford guy. After watching the video, I must say that Dodge deserves a second look. Good looking truck with nice features. I like the diesel motor, but what transmission does it have? The tranny is always the problem. Overall, nice looking vehicle. Bye the way, when I owned a 2006 F-350 the integrated beake contoller worked great.

Dodge transmissions behind the Cummins engine have been very reliable going back to 2003 with the introduction of the 48RE. Starting with the introduction of the 6.7L Cummins in 2007.5, Dodge began using the new 68RFE six speed auto in the Cummins equipped pickup trucks. The cab/chassis Cummins trucks get a six speed Aisin automatic.

The new 68re 6speed auto trans is very good, stout and the paddle shifter and tow/haul with factory exhaust brake is a blast.

No, your new Dodge brake controller will be covered under warranty. You should be fine.
