RE: Protect your Credit Cards at Syracuse Rally

The only way your information could be stolen without physically using the card is if you have one of the RF cards. I will only get swipe only credit cards. Then they have to be physically swiped in the machine to get any information. I also will not give my credit card to any waiter/waitress, i take it to the register and swipe it myself. Also had one cashier that wanted my card to swipe because the reader was behind the counter. Told her to either put the reader on the counter so i could swipe it or let me go behind the counter to swipe it. She called the manager and i told him the same thing. Got to go behind the counter to swipe my card, found out the next day they put the reader on the counter.

RE: What are these? And do they need replacing?

Get them out of the weather! When you replace them put the new ones in a weather resistant box. That way they will stay clean, dry, and will not rust or corrode.

RE: Ta daaaaaaaaaa . . . . . .

Did Gretchen pick out her blue collar, or did you pick it? Our Bliss picked her own out, and she wanted Blue. Daughter tried giving her pink, red, and black. She turned them down and went for the blue.

RE: Revcon Class A

Air Force used to use them. Of course they were stripped out, no windows, and we had some very nice electronics in them. Had the transmission go out in one, the hill was too steep for the added weight and a rookie driver.

RE: 12 Volt Outlets

I use mine for fans. On those days it's not too hot and you just need some air flow. Modified a couple O2Cool fans.

RE: Lights Dim, Blink

Your battery is probably bad also. Unplug from shore power and see if the lights turn on.

RE: PRNDL Indicator repair

Don't know if the Ford is the same as a Chevy, but my Chevy is adjustable. There is a screw by the selector cable, on the steering shaft, that you loosen and then move the pointer to the position needed. Mine was off when i got it and adjusted it over seven years ago.

RE: Electric slide motor conversation please.

Yes, Since DC motors have brushes the torque and speed will depend on how well the brushes contact the armature. Check for weak springs on the brushes and abnormal wear. Also you could have a burned out wire on the armature which will cause weaker torque.

RE: Which battery isolator relay

Make sure which ever one you get, that it is a continuous duty solenoid. I would spend the extra bucks and get a 200amp.

RE: vacuum gauge

On mine (95 454 TBI) i found a plugged port on the intake manifold. I removed the plug and installed a hose at that location. It has worked great.
My vacuum gauge has helped me find my sweet spot(best gas mileage) 2500rpm, 62-65mph, and 10+" of vacuum.
