RE: Dash vents not working

I had a cracked plastic vacuum reservoir once, I fixed it with JB Weld.

RE: Tire suggestions for 25' coach

Michelin XPS Ribs, Best 16 inch tire that money can buy. Also the most expensive at about $300 each out the door. Bullet proof! IMO

RE: Dash vents not working

I think "Blend" is the door that balances heater core with air conditioning evaporator to produce your desired temperature. Not as sure of the name for "Mode Select" or whatever that part is, but I don't think it's same as Blend. Quite a few vehicles use Electric for Blend and Vacuum for Mode. Default is Defrost, so I'm with the crew that says it's a vacuum problem. Broken hose, cracked vacuum reservoir...X2

RE: Bilsteins vs. OEM Dodge shocks

Something isn't right with the installation or the shocks. Bilsteins are perhaps the best shock on the market. Are you sure the shocks they installed were brand new and were properly installed? I've owned severals sets of Bilsteins on various rigs and could never do what you described.X2

RE: New tires and new 'wobble'

I had that happen to me once and it was "out of round" defective tires as already mentioned.

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Gary, If they can't get the hydraulic lines for the jacks fixed in time, can't you just level with blocks? It would be crppy to have this screed up because of Forest River. I know what that is like. Good idea!

RE: Need to buy new tires...any suggestions

I'm stuck with 16.5" coined rims. No choice but to buy the Firestone Transforce tires. I swear they are the only people in the world still making a 16.5" tire. At any rate, they do the job well and they are what was on there when we got the MH. The old ones made the trip home (and a few more around town) even though they have a production date of 1998. Jose Jose, you may want to read this old post Here

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

This afternoon I tried to get Mama in the camper, she cannot on her own and Sue and I cannot lift her without hurting her. :(Darn it, even the new lifting harness is painfull for her? I am so disappointed, for you both. Best wishes and I will keep my fingers crossed for everyone.

RE: RV.Net Stickers, 2 pics, a story, a question....

RE: Intermittent electrical problem when starting

My money is on a bad cable or ground...most likely on the starter batteries. Remove the cables, one at a time, clean em, lube em and reinstall. Let us know if that fixes the problem....DennisX2. Also be sure to check the connection on the starter too. Mine was bad once and you could see the connection was black from heat and resistance.

Yes I am subcribed to them but with the e-mail notifications turned off. No big deal but it happened twice today, I had to go to the members profile and turn them off again. I must be special :B
