RE: Best brake system for new MH

Did you get the original or the RViBrake2, the newer version?
I just installed the RVi brake system. I like it a lot.

RE: GPS navigation device vs. Smartphone

Garmin Dezl 7" with voice commands and Bluetooth connection for weather to the Android phone, when I need it.
7 inches fits just fine on the Class A and we both can see it
Truckers version, with an RV profile, just great!
Been to too many places within the last 2 years where there is no cell service
Hello group, I am new here. My wife and I are starting to plan our cross North America trip this summer. My question to this learned group is one related to a GPS navigation device versus smart phone.
What are other folks preferences?
I am looking at a Garmin d?zl 560LMT. I am also looking at a smartphone. Should I keep the devices seperate, or get a smartphone that does everyting?
Thanks, Rick

RE: Synthetic oil vs regular oil

Well, my 98 Ford Windstar had 226,000 miles when I traded it in 2 years ago. Burned 1/8 quart at my last 2 regular oil changes, which was always done between 8-10,000 miles.
Used Walmart NON Synthetic oil and their filters.
Do you need synthetic? Maybe not
Talk about a trouble free vehicle. Besides regular maintenance, only needed an alternator at 168K miles.

RE: Interesting Read About Navistar

" Analysts have cited the Monaco Coach unit, as well as some of Navistar's foreign operations, as among businesses that could be sold"
Here we go again

RE: A fellow rv'er scared me today- ugh

Idiots have raised idiots
Nuff said
I can't tell you how many times I have had someone come up the entrance ramp and match me for speed. I would have to kick it out of cruise and let them in. After this happened to me.

RE: Acadia/Explorer/Grand Cherokee

24.6 mpg 75% highway/25% local with 2013 Explorer Limited.
After the first tank of gas 21.5 MPG by the cars computer. DW filled it without recording the numbers so I can't do it manually. I am guessing at 75% Highway and 25% local driving.
