In my old TT I ran a 200 watt inverter off the lighter plug behind the tv, ran the tv and blueray off it 100% of the time. I liked it for rest stops on the road (didn't have a genset).

You will get 5-20% loss per connection - splice a cable to make it longer, and you will loose 10-40% (there are 2 connections) at the joint. The quality of the connections and what they are plugged into is very important. If the connection gets wet, and the contacts oxidize, you will be closer to the 20% (or more) per connection.

I decorate the site with a 5th wheel trailer, a truck that is there part of the time, and if it is a dusty site, I may put down a outdoor carpet under the steps.

It looks like it takes the air being blasted vertical by the windshield, and helps to more efficiently turn it horizontal along the roof of the bus.

Saw those laws years ago. The state needs to redefine what a pickup is VS a truck. All late model ~2010 and on duallys are NOT pickups in California. I have yet to see or hear of ANYONE pulled over for it.

Fed is 65 feet. As long as you are on an interstate, you are fine. Once you get off them and onto state highways it gets a little iffy if the state has shorter limits - but you are usually ok. Once you leave "truck routes" you are in danger of getting the measuring tape.

I fire the fridges up the night before, the cooler air at night helps it cool faster. Even with 110+ degrees during the day, starting it at sunset it was ~40 by daybreak. We were running the ac the day before loading stuff in the trailer - I am sure that helped the inside being 70-80 VS 120+.

The only time I had a limitless hot shower in a RV was at Ft wilderness in FL in July. The incoming water had to be 85-90 degrees. I usually shower, then enjoy a hot soak until it gets cold then bail - got caught off guard when I was all pruned up still having hot water in the shower. It must have been 20-30 minutes of running the hot water constantly.

The drawback on not having a urea tank is requiring the several times the EGR flow to meet emission requirements. And FWIW the new cummins engines DO NOT meet them, cummins is burning epa credits it earned from 07 model year+ that exceeded the 07 requirements.

I ordered the triglide through a local rv repair shop directly from lippert. You remove the nut at the top of the airbag (by the fill valve), then remove the bottom of the shock. The lower jaw swings down, and you remove the pivot at the rear. Reinstall the same way.

I have 6 G614 on my TH, all at 110psi. Last time I scales it the trailer axles totaled 12k, with close to 22k of tires & rims. For what it is worth, slam the electric brake controller at low speed, and you will eat dashboard in my truck. I have NO problem with traction at max tire pressure. As far as rough ride on the trailer, the axles likely have a rough ride, but the centerpoint suspension on the trailer absorbs almost all the bumps before they hit the frame. Between the centerpoint, and trailair triglide, the truck feels RR tracks, but you can't feel the 3 trailer axles cross them.

I would put in 3 relays - coil powered off the TV's pigtail, and using the trailers battery to power the outgoing lights to the second trailer. put a fuse in each line (3) to the second plug. If anything goes wrong in the second trailer, it blows its fuse, and the remaining lights are unaffected as well as all the lights on the first trailer.
I check my lights at every hookup by turning on the headlights, and hitting the hazards. This runs all the lights on the trailer, and I can easily see if something is not working. I do that (walk around) at every stop where someone gets out. On my last truck I had a lighted 4 way plug, there were 3 small leds in the plug so you could see if the light problem was on the TV or trailer. I would use something similar of the back of your first trailer to simplify troubleshooting later on.

The CATS need to be hot to work.. Just drive from point a to point b on surface streets, and they don't get hot enough, shut it down to cool while you wait your turn and you are in trouble. I would Hot dog it a few times right before they hook it up and you will have a better chance of passing.

I would change the password before they arrive to a new one, give it to them, after they depart, change it back. If you are that worried about them getting into your computers, they shouldn't be on your wifi.

If you are getting sand through ANY filter, it isn't a filter. The fine dust that is the issue with the oiled filters is almost the same size and the particulate in diesels. Wipe your finger on the inside of the intake after the filter, and compare that to the inside of the exhaust tip (pre dpf trucks). The egr particulate is always there - as long as the truck is up to temp - the dust passed from the filter varies, usually there is none, as most pavement driving is in clear air.
