RE: Which wax?

Give Nu Finish (Orange plastic bottle), a try. I've found nothing better over the last 15 years. :C http://coloradok5.com/forums/images/smilies/sign17.gif... and I have tried them all.

RE: Just beginning to consider Class C's

If that motor home has been garage kept like it looks, you may have found a "GEM". Engine/tranny parts are no problem to find for the 350. As for the coach air, furnace, frig, hot water heater, also no problem to replace. The things to look at are the roof, that's an expensive replacement, also look underneath at frame and floor both for the cab and camper. If they are solid I sure would be tempted. We have a 21' motor home and it's a pure joy for camping and parking. Brian I agree with the above quote. You might be interested in reading my build thread. Click the link in my signature to see it.

RE: Magik's RV

I may still take everything off the top and design then install a roof that doesn't trap water. This year I plan to use it more and work on it less.

RE: Real costs when getting 80's RV's back on the road

Thank you again everyone for being so welcoming! Many of the automotive forums I frequent are quite the opposite :/ coloradok5.com is a great site for GM information in the years you are considering.

RE: What Bubble Mixture Worked Best?

I was sad to see this post because it means you are still battling leaks. I know from personal experience how frustrating leaks can be.

RE: Need unladen weight for SD registration

Just purchased a 1999 Coachman Catalina 28QB for a friend in Australia. Is your friends name Ron and his wife's name Viv by any change?

RE: Metal Roof Coating

After battling a roof leak, I think I would start following your original plan. Apply several coats of roof coating first. If it still leaks apply Eternabond tape to the problem areas. Click on the link in my signature to see what I did with my roof.
