RE: Soldering wires to 1156 base to adapt led panel

I might have some that you can have but can't look right now. Mine came with 3 adapters and I never used an 1156 one. The question is how many I tossed out.

RE: Verizon jet pack mifi

Look at the one from Millenicom. It uses Verizons 4620 jet pack and you get 20 Gb per month for $69.99. We use it at home and take it with us.

RE: how to safely deenergize capacitor

Make sure the power is disconnected and then the only safe way is to connect the capacitor terminals together. You can leave them that way.

RE: Rain Kap

I installed mine in a piece of molding above the existing gutters so they basically aren't used anymore

RE: Rain Kap

I installed it last year and it solved at least 90% of black streak problems. I did have to stop it at each side of the awning.

RE: CG before of after the Bridge tunnel in MD or VA

We were on our way home and spent the night at the rest area not long ago. We did not expect to sleep well but neither of us woke until 7:30 AM (hit the bed about midnight). We will do it again if the chance arises.

RE: Mounting back up camera

Thats exactly how I mounted mine .......with a 1/8 piece of aluminum under the center light and wired it to the 12 volts feeding the clearance lights. I found a raceway for the wires running between all the lights and fed the video wire through that. Never remove it. Good luck.

RE: Android Tablets?

I have the Sony tablet S which is about 7" x 9" and my wife has the 10" Ipad. Not much difference.....really just personal preference. We went to Best Buy and she used every tablet in there before selecting the Ipad. Seemed like a good way to decide.

RE: Help finding TT with the right floor plan

Look at the Shadow Cruiser S225RBS. You would have to replace the dinette with chairs or a sofa but we really like the floor plan, storage, and counter space.

RE: Rear video camera, part time issue, what do you think?

Lots of 6 pin connectors here Connectors. I didn't look thru all 8 pages. I'd replace your current ones with a new type of plug and socket if it's not available. Good luck!

RE: "Automatic" smartphone app for problem codes, mpg, etc.

Look at the "Torque" app. I use it and a $25 OBDII Bluetooth adapter from ebay. works great!

RE: Executive DVD Home Theater System EXEC 9150

Logitech has a few remotes that you program by entering your equipment model numbers with the remote connected to their website. You can go to Logitechs web site before you buy one to see if they will work on your model numbers.

RE: New Battery Box. What mods would I need to make?

I added thisBox from Lowes last fall. That allows me to put the wd bars and a few other items in the box beside the battery for storage. You will need a few inches of clearance between the box and the front of the trailer to allow the lid to open. There was not room to use the lock with the propane tanks in the way so I had to move the lock from the center to one end and added a locking hasp on the other end. Used the space left in the middle where the lock was as a vent.

RE: Connecting with FoxFi

I have this same problem with my Droid Razr occasionally when FoxFi (Pdanet now) is first started. Closing the FoxFi app and restarting it usually fixes it but sometimes I have to turn the phone off and back on.

RE: Keep blowing fuse in microwave

It's been a few years since I repaired them but if the fuse only blows when it starts to cook, thats often the sign of a bad magnetron. If you are handy you can take the wires off the magnetron and then see if the fuse blows when you try to cook (be sure its unplugged and you discharge the capacitor before you remove the wires and keep the wires from touching each other or anything else). MCM Electronics used to have a good selection of them.

RE: COE Parks - Locked Gates

A lot of those gates have the capability to open automatically when police cars or ambulances approach by employing an emergency light sensor......similar to traffic lights.

RE: Bathroom Light Switch?

I had the same exact problem in the bathroom and ordered a replacement Starlights BL 3003 LED fixture with a BL 3007 (adapter to allow use of modules) & BL 3006 (motion detector module). After I received it, I left the original light (tapped into its wires to power the new one) and mounted the new one closer to the sink for better light there. Now we rarely use the original light and the motion sensor one works great. If we leave the bathroom door open, it even turns on when we come into the trailer from outside. It is available with incandest bulbs (BL 3001) and other modules (dimmer, day/night sensor, and nightlight) also. I have no ties to the company, just listing an option that works well for me.
