Water Sealer on Shepard's Hook
While waterproofing my popup's tent I sprayed water sealer on the shepard's hook. What would be the best way to clean it up? It's left a residue on the metal.

It's the fuse that runs off the positive connector to the battery. Happens quite a bit actually. Just dropped the PUP off at the dealer for bearings and mentioned it. They suggested a bigger wiring issue.

Great, thanks all, I had no idea! On a positive note, the thing still works, it was just a fuse. But I'll be replacing it after this trip. Thanks again!
Do I need a battery?
Just discovered the battery for my PUP is dead. We're camping in two weeks at a powered site. Do I need the battery if I'm plugging in or is it only for "off the grid?"
